Why does Echo need location access?
Location is used to show nearby echoes, record where you place an echo and determine whether you have reached the area in AR. Always location access is needed only for nearby alerts you choose to enable; other core features do not require it.
How do I delete an echo?
Open Profile, view an echo you created and choose Delete. The content will no longer appear, and cloud media will be removed through the system's deletion process.
How do I delete my account?
Sign in to Echo, open Profile, then Settings, and choose Delete account. Read the consequences and confirm again. Your account, uploaded content and related personal information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
How do I report or block someone?
Choose Report or Block from an echo's safety menu. Reports go through human moderation. After blocking a user, you will no longer see their content.
Why does AR look different on different devices?
AR tracking depends on device sensors, lighting, visible detail and the surrounding space. Move your device slowly in a safe, well-lit area. Devices without LiDAR can still use basic AR features.
